Visitors to the busy towpath by Petersham Meadows This plan brings together the joint themes of visitor and recreation activity with public transport, access, interpretation, river use, regeneration and marketing. If successful these projects will have far reaching implications. Visitors at a busy ferry crossing within the Arcadian Thames
Over time it is hoped that facilities will be installed along the river to enable trip boats to stop at Teddington Lock, Cross Deep, Ham Car Park, Kingston and Twickenham Town Centres.Marble Hill House
For the first time in decades all the attractions, wonderful gardens and properties that comprise the Arcadian Thames will be linked by a connected cross-borough plan that includes river transport, improved pedestrian routes, signage and interpretation that is based on a thorough understanding of the sense of place.
