Thames Landscape Strategy joins forces with 'Pay Back' initiative

On 22nd May, 12 community service workers tidied up the towpath in Kingston as part of a new probation initiative – Pay Back. Working along the towpath between the Borough marker just north of the Hawker Centre, the Pay Back workers collected six sacks of river borne rubbish on a wet and windy Monday morning.

The Thames Landscape Strategy and the Pay Back initiative are hoping to forge stronger links, and organise regular clean ups along the riverbank in Richmond and Kingston where the scheme operates.
