Royal Botanic Gardens Kew have launched a public consultation seeking local, national and international comment on Kew’s vision for the next three years. The Consultation Document gives people a chance to have their say in Kew’s future. Kew’s director Professor Stephen Hopper has issued the following message. The consultation period runs up until 31st March 2008.
The Thames Landscape Strategy strongly supports the vision set out in the consultation document, in particular proposals to improve the garden’s interface with the River Thames, such as using the river to focus on waterside habitats, resiting the riverside car park and looking at long-term flood risk management within this wonderful riverside World Heritage Site.
