Adopt a Duck and raise money for TLS

Adopt a Duck in the Great British Duck Race and raise money for the Thames Landscape Strategy and London’s Arcadia!
The TLS Co-ordinator, Jason Debney, helps raise awareness of the Great British Duck Race
On Sunday 2nd September 2007, 165,000 rubber ducks will be dispatched by the Great British Duck Race on a 1km race down the River Thames by Hampton Court Palace. All this in an attempt to break a world record and raise £500,000 for a range of charities. The Father Thames Trust, the fundraising arm of the Thames Landscape Strategy, is registered on the Great British Duck Race website. So why not Adopt a Duck for £5, of which £3 will go to the Father Thames Trust? Not only will you be helping us raise valuable match funding for projects across the Thames Landscape Strategy area including Hurst Park and Molesey Riverside, Hampton Court, Kingston, Richmond and Brentford. You’ll also have the chance to win £10,000 if your duck is the first over the finish line! All ducks will be collected after the race and carefully recylced.
